NBA preseason is here, and Jadakiss and God Shammgod break down the biggest basketball storylines on Check It Up—from Los Angeles Lakers expectations with Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves to Zion Williamson’s potential and the possibility of Nikola Jokić teaming up with Luka. Kiss and Shamm also react to Fat Joe’s recent comments about Klay Thompson’s shooting on Joe and Jada, separating questions about mobility from the ability to still knock down shots. The two hosts discuss Bronny James and the spotlight, coaching stars while keeping an entire roster bought in, and potential NBA expansion in Seattle and Las Vegas. They also get into the New York Liberty’s Barclays Center atmosphere, Angel Reese’s rebounding and Stephen Curry’s impact on Golden State. Along the way, Jadakiss tells God Shammgod about coaching NBA superstars during a lockout charity game—including the moment Kevin Durant told him not to take him out. Two perspectives. One shared love of the game. Check It Up with Jadakiss and God Shammgod. Which storyline are you watching most closely: the Lakers, Zion’s season or NBA expansion? Drop your take in the comments.
